City Centre Qurum Celebrates Gulf Festival for Social Work; provides exhibition space to showcase small-scale businesses from local community

Qurum, OMAN – 10 April, 2012 – In collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development in Oman, City Centre Qurum recently played host to Productive Families – a programme that has been developed to help foster entrepreneurship, while showcasing small-scale businesses from the local community.

Coinciding with the Gulf Festival for Social Work – which is in its third consecutive year, City Centre Qurum has provided exhibition space within the mall for 20 families – providing budding entrepreneurs with the perfect opportunity to display their home-produced products, as well as meet with potential buyers and resellers. 

To the delight of exhibitors, Sheikh Nasser Al Harasi, Wali Al Mutrah & President of the Social Development Committee attended the exhibition’s open day, providing words of encouragement, while extending his support to all.
