City Centre Qurum Opens New Stores for Local Community

Broadens retail offer with seven new brands from fashion to electronics

 

Muscat, Oman, 27 February 2012 – Residents in the neighbouring Qurum community have more shopping options at their doorstep with the recent opening of seven new stores at City Centre Qurum . The mall has added new fashion, electronic, and homewares brands, reinforcing the practical and convenience of its offer to the local community. To add to the excitement, shoppers visiting the mall this month were also given the chance to win shopping sprees and prizes totaling RO 20,000 as part of the MEGA Festival campaign which ended last week.

“Our mission has always been to provide a variety of merchandise options to shoppers and the addition of these new destinations serves to better meet the needs of Qurum residents,” said Husam Al Mandari, Senior Mall Manager for City Centre Qurum . “As a supporter of the yearly Muscat Festival, we were pleased to reward shoppers for their loyalty by giving away some fantastic prizes this month.”

The new stores include La Moda, which offers trendy sunglasses selection. Shoppers can try on high-end eyewear in luxury and comfort at the store to choose a product that matches their personality. For visitors that prefer a pair of classy shoes, Al Escafi offers a quality men’s leather footwear and Vincci sells trendy, affordable shoes and handbags.

Additional new brands include Arabian Oud, the largest Arabian fragrance retailer in the world and Mariposa, diverse home and entertainment products.
 
To complete the list, Panasonic and PHAAC recently opened their doors, offering shoppers an array of cutting edge electronic products and digital and communications solutions. 

The store openings are part of City Centre Qurum ’s commitment to leisure, entertainment, and shopping at a single destination. As a reward for their continued loyalty, the mall hosted a MEGA Festival promotion which offered shopper discounts and chances to win cash prizes.  Shoppers who spent a combined total of RO 20 were automatically entered into daily draws to win RO 250 and the Grand Prize draw of a shopping spree worth RO 5,000. The shopping promotion was a joint initiative with Muscat City Centre.
